Why I Am an Adult Sleep Coach and What I Actually Do
Hi and welcome. Today, I want to talk to you about what it is that I really do.
Obviously, I’m going to help people to sleep like a boss, either in corporate or women who have something of a vision, of a legacy that they want to fulfill.
The trouble is though, of course we are busy. Something that I hear my clients most of the time saying is that once I’m down, once I actually have everything in place to sleep, that’s when the trouble starts. I’m really tired but my brain is just keeping on racing and that’s very typical. That’s very, very typical.
Today, I’m going to talk about a couple of things that you might be able to do, but I’m also going to tell you about why I might be a little bit different than just your average sleep coach.
For me, when I work with clients, I’m actually quite picky on who I work with because I really want to work with people who inspire me. The reason for that is, is that one of the main features or one of the main things I have to do in order for my clients to be successful is to keep their motivation up.
The only thing that I know of that is the best motivation ever is if you have a very big vision. If you have a big dream. If you have a goal that is huge. The first part of working with me is actually figuring out what that is and then working towards it.
Sleep is much more complex than just a couple of tips and saying, “Try this and try that.”
You can’t touch it.
You can’t force it to come.
You can’t grasp it.
Even sleeping pills won’t give you the same effects, the natural sleep. Having the motivation to eventually having to change a lot of things in your life, your complete lifestyle depending, you need to know why you’re doing it.
We really go digging and the bigger the vision is, the more I’m inspired too and the more we can work together to do great things.
Ultimately, sleep is the step towards that.
For me, my goal is really to get my clients to their dream, to their vision by helping them to get their sleep, but by doing much more than that. Then of course we look at everything that goes on around them.
Sleep is not just what is going on in your head. It’s everything that’s going on inside of you. Meaning also processes that go from nutrition, hydration, movement, where you work, where you sleep. Tons of things, plus your mindset of course.
Sleep is just as unique as a fingerprint. There is no one size fits all.
When I say that I have a bespoke service, I’m not kidding. It is extremely bespoke.
The time that I work with a client is different than from one from the other. Depending on what is going on in their heads, we might be done very quickly or it might take us longer. Depending on what kind of habits they have hosted for years, it might take us longer than for someone who is actually on the right track but just needs a little tweak without even knowing it.
It really depends, but I want to make it clear that this is not just a quick stop shop where you get everything fixed in a second. It will take time.
It will take profiling, but it will also be life changing, because once you actually know what your ultimate goal is in life, you can never back. I know this is scary for you, and then maybe this is not for you.
This is really something that I wanted to get out. I hope that you understand. I hope that it excites you as much as it does me. I don’t think I love anything else doing as much as working with clients on this.
I also hope hat it gave you a little bit of insight on how complex sleep really is and why is sleeping pill can never, ever replace the natural sleep that comes over you and cradles you and rejuvenates you and just makes you a super person, a superwoman or a superman.
That’s what I wanted to share with you today.
It’s a little bit special. I’m sorry that it’s not your how-to tips or 10 steps to better sleep, but I have difficulties with that because I don’t really believe in it, so that’s me.
