As you know by now, I'm focusing mainly on people who want to do their business online and today’s topic is really gonna get me going!

You know I have a certain standard!

So what is "Why good recording tech matters to get your first high-end clients" about?

Why is that important? Well, when I see people going online or doing a video on Facebook Live or on a summit, and I see them having their iPhone head buds, bad lighting, having an awful microphone and a weird background behind them, I quickly lose interest. They don’t look happy or smart. The topic might be top, but they are losing the audience, due to their lack of tech investment.

Your business is online. There's a certain way to represent yourself. Think of it as if you’re going out or going to have a talk, and you haven’t brushed your hair and your appearance is a bit raggedy. How do you think that is going to go over?!

Personally, I really believe it’s important how you appear in front of people. I am not saying that it should be fake, but it should be polished. Thanks to Zoom you can touch up your video and give yourself a smooth glow.


For my mentees, this is a nonnegotiable point! When they start doing videos, later on, it needs to look high quality. I encourage them to do podcasts and to be on summits. You're just going to stand out!

When people watch all these videos out there and yours stands out because it looks professional, that's where they're going to spend their money! Not on Yoga-Pants-Sue, who you can barely understand and who's pixelated and had a super noisy background. They won’t necessarily want to invest, no matter how good their content is!

That’s why good recording tech matters to get your first high-end clients! Deal with it, but still be authentic.
