What’s it like to work with one of us?

Have you ever considered reaching out to us, but weren’t sure if that’s the right thing to do?We understand that the idea of paying someone to help you fix your sleep issues might seem weird, overwhelming or even scary. But let me walk you through what you can expect from being a client of one of the Sleep Like a Boss coaches.

Let's start before we even work together:

Before becoming a client of Sleep Like a Boss, we do schedule a free assessment calls with anybody who's interested in our program. You actually can’t become a client without one. The reason we do this to make sure that you're the right fit for our program and that we can actually help you with your sleep issues. We want to set you up for success.

For that it is super important that coach and client are a good fit and that we get a first understanding of your sleep issues. During a free call you can also get an impression of the coach, how they talk, answer your questions and concerns and if you feel comfortable working with them.

Your journey back to sleep:

When you join, we start by having a very extensive conversation with you to get to know you as a person, your health history, and your sleep issues. This happens online and it takes about an hour to an hour and a half.

During this conversation, we will also go over some other points, like what does your day currently like, when do you get up, what do you do after you wake up, when do you eat, what you eat, when and what kind of exercise do you do etc. Oftentimes, optimizing the basics can already get our clients to feel a lot better and support their sleep quickly.

How do we figure out what's keeping you from sleeping?

Besides understanding your health history, an important piece of our program are the tests. These will give you insights into what is going on in your body and we will help you put a plan together on how to address this.  What do we look at?

A Gut test: are there any imbalances in your gut that may affect your sleep? Things like an imbalance of good and bad bacteria, parasites, yeast overgrowth, to name the most common.

A Thyroid test: is your thyroid  functioning properly?

A Food sensitivity test: are there foods that might be triggering your system and causing inflammation? Inflammation in the body causes cortisol to rise and thus affects your sleep.

A Hormone Test: what does your cortisol pattern look like in the morning, during the day and at night? Is it spiking at the wrong times? Is it too low? What about your sex hormones: testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. If any of these are out of balance, your sleep can be affected.

A Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis: are there any heavy metals in your body as well as if you have any mineral deficiencies that  lead to sleep issues, anxiety and nervousness ?

In addition to the information from the test, what we focus on during our 6 months together is your resiliency and your stress management. We teach you different techniques and tools on how to optimize your day and get a better sleep by learning to calm your nervous system, your monkey mind and being able to handle stress better.

AND ...

The key to our clients’ success lies not just in what we do, but how we do it.

We are there for you personally every day during our business hours.

If you work with one of us, you get access to your coach through Voxxer or WhatsApp. That way you can get a hold of them and you can discuss issues or ask questions in real time. You don't have to wait for your next session. Because we want you to feel comfortable, as at ease as possible and get you results quickly.

This is extremely important because you'll be going through a lot of changes in the program, you will try a lot of new things and it's important to have somebody to reach out to, someone to support you in that process but also to keep you accountable.

We are there for you along the way. To celebrate successes and support you when you need someone to hold you accountable. A study by The American Society of Training and Development found that people are 65 - 95% more likely to meet a goal if they have support and accountability.

We want you to be successful and that is why we don’t work on an appointment-by-appointment basis, but with multiple sessions AND ongoing support.

Finally, allow me to share one more important point from my own experience going through PTSD, burnout, anxiety and sleep issues:

The longer you wait addressing your health issues, the longer they take to fix. Because the more time passes, the more your body gets out of balance and needs longer to return to a balanced state.

With that, I encourage you to just reach out to us. We would love to see how we can support you.
